As the European Union’s Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) begins to apply, Vench Medical is strengthening its packaging compliance practices to support customers across the European market.
Regulation (EU) 2025/40 generally applies from August 12, 2026. It aims to reduce packaging waste, improve resource efficiency and support a circular economy. The regulation covers packaging of all materials, with additional requirements concerning recyclability, recycled content and packaging minimisation introduced in phases.
Vench Medical has taken steps to address applicable packaging compliance and registration requirements. Our work includes reviewing packaging materials, maintaining relevant supplier and technical documentation, and improving packaging efficiency while preserving product protection.
We aim to provide European customers with clear packaging information and support the documentation needed for their applicable compliance responsibilities.
